Courtney C. Mick, LSW


Courtney C. Mick, LSW is a New Jersey-based licensed social worker and mental health and wellness specialist promoting the education and empowerment of millennial Black Women and Women of Color. She has worked within the community with children and families providing coaching and consulting to parents, juvenile justice systems, schools and hospitals. She has experience with servicing children, adolescents and adults diagnosed with psychiatric disorders, those experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges and severe cognitive and learning delays. Her extensive work in the field of social work has transformed the lives of others impacted by community violence, generational trauma, mental illness, substance use, parenting difficulties and so much more. Courtney credits her clinical training at Boston University School of Social Work for her ability to connect on a personal level with so many people. It is Courtney’s belief that if millennials understand mental health, they can bridge the gap between generations and make real change focused on mental health and wellness.

Courtney believes in education and empowerment as a force to promote healing and change within the Black community and communities of color. Courtney has always maintained a focus on youth development and continues to maintain her passion in her current work with black and brown high school students in the city of Newark with KIPP New Jersey.

In addition to her career as a Licensed Social Worker in NJ, Courtney is a mother of the amazing 3-year old, Aiden and proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Courtney provides millennial focused, wellness-centered, fresh and relatable, curated content, events, workshops and seminars for persons of color bearing motherhood in mind to provide millennial women support in reaching their goals in every area of wellness.
